Bobby Axelrod is a successful billionaire who managed to create an unshakable business empire in a difficult time for the country. The financial crisis did not become a hindrance for him, but the secret of his success has always remained a secret. Chuck Rhoads, a local prosecutor who is trying to uncover the shady activities of AKSA, has entered the case. Problems fall on the lawyer's head literally immediately: Chuck's wife, Wendy, works in one of the firms run by Bobby. Axelrod sees her as a worthy ally and a great professional, so he wants her to continue working in the insider fund. The woman finds herself between two militant fires, not knowing what to do next. Chuck manages to find dirt that can put an end to the businessman's case. However, even enemies sooner or later become allies. After a long struggle with each other, the main characters decide to join forces in a war against common opponents. Waylon Jeffcoat is the attorney general who has repeatedly put a spoke in Chuck's wheels. Problems are also caused by Taylor Mason, who, after leaving Axelrod's firm, took with her not only a substantial sum, but also important documents. Despite the allied relationship, the characters still can't trust each other to the end. The war may unfold on a new scale.
