Julie & Julia

Juli Powell – the young woman who works as the call center operator, and writes in free time the book. Together with the husband she moves to the new house, and with herself takes some books on cookery one of which wrote Julia Child. Juli finds to herself fascinating occupation soon: she decides to prepare all 524 dishes which recipes were described by Julia in the work within a year, and starts going toWards the aim, describing each failure and a small victory in own blog.

Julia Child's destiny was much more fascinating: it began the career in the 1940-50th years when Cold War was in the heat, and many officials became the victims of modern "witch-hunt" and were suspected of collaboration with communists. To Julia's husband, the diplomat by the name of Paul, it wasn't lucky to cause suspicions of senator McCarthy who declared "red threat" therefore they moved to Paris. Destinies of two women aren't similar at each other at all, but something after all made related them.
Julia Child and Julie Powell – both of whom wrote memoirs – find their lives intertwined. Though separated by time and space, both women are at loose ends... until they discover that with the right combination of passion, fearlessness and butter, anything is possible.
