Downsizing

At the very beginning of the film "Downsizing" we meet Paul and Audrey, a married couple, which is experiencing serious financial difficulties. They barely manage to stay afloat and earn yourself only, without which they will not be able to survive. At the same time they witness the overpopulation of the planet.

Norwegian scientists are beginning to develop a project that will help them solve the problem. Soon, they create a unique technology that can reduce people. Scientists believe that two centuries later, the entire human civilization can make miniature. This will solve difficulties arising from overcrowding and lack of resources. That's just gotta start somewhere. Learning that miniature life gives lots of great financial opportunities, Paul and Audrey decide to participate in the project. They easily leave his boring existence and sent to the institution, to pass on the reduction procedure. This solution would entail unusual consequences.
A kindly occupational therapist undergoes a new procedure to be shrunken to four inches tall so that he and his wife can help save the planet and afford a nice lifestyle at the same time.
