Gravity

The film takes us to NASA space shuttle program Explorer where Dr Ryan Stone joins as a biomedical engineer. This is her first space mission and Matt Kowlski is heading the team and this is his last mission. Mission control Warns them of missile strike by Russia on an old, unused satellite which is going to cause lot of debris in the space.

Mission control also orders to cancel the spacewalk to hubble Space telescope ahead of this incidence. The crew members starts backing up toWard the shuttle. Due to the debris coming at high speed, the communication with earth station also gets disconnected. Stone is detached from the shuttle due to the strike of high speed debris and goes tumbling in the space. Kowalski however can catch Stone and get her back with them. Their space shuttle is damaged to great extent and all the crew inside is not alive. They both decide to go back to ISS with the MMU.
Dr. Ryan Stone, a brilliant medical engineer on her first Shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky in command of his last flight before retiring. But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The Shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone-tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness of space. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.
