During 1981, Ron and Veronica host a news show on New York City cable. They are happily married. Mack Tannen is another famous news anchor and he declares his retirement from the work. Conringstone is the news anchor whom Mack is appreciating and looking forWard to be the first nightly news anchor in the entire History of the news channels. He puts her at the place of Burgundy who is continuously giving sloppy and bad performance on the channel.
Due to this Burgundy starts feeling jealous about Corningstone’s placement and leaves the house for wife and their son Walter. Burgundy goes in depression and can’t hold a single job for long time. He is fired from SeaWorld and try to attempt a suicide. At this time Freddue Shapp offers him a job at GNN the 24 hour news network or channel. He joins GNN and decide to deliver what most of the people like to watch. He creates a kind of patriotic and sensational program. It goes a big hit.
With the 70s behind him, San Diego's top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy, returns to take New York's first 24-hour news channel by storm.
