Gone Girl

On their fifth wedding anniversary Nick Dunne discovers that his wife Amy has disappeared. The couple is much in news as Amy is a daughter of well celebrated authors. Investigations establish that Amy has been murdered. In the pretext of murder revelations of loss of jobs, domestic unrest and infidelity are made. The plot gets twisted as it is revealed that Amy is alive and she had crafted evidences and created make-belief situations to ascertain that Nick killed her. Her modus operandi in framing up Nick is spine chilling.

Amy once poses to be pregnant using a pregnant neighbor’s urine while trying to set up Nick for murdering her and eventually gets genuinely pregnant and insists Nick and Amy get back into marriage. With paternity test confirming Nick as the child’s father, he feels responsible for the child and they both decide to stay together announcing the arrival of their baby on TV.
