A Walk Among the Tombstones

Matthew Scudder is a detective and he in travelling in a car along with his partner. He goes to the bar to have some drink and orders two rounds of alcoholic drink. Then he also orders for the coffee and sits there for a while. During that time two men with mask on their faces enter the bar and approach bartender.

Their purpose is not very good and they directly kill the bartender. Matt immediately takes out his gun and fires toWards them. The killers start running out on the street where Matt follows them and keeps on firing. His shots hurt one of the killer and that man with mast fells down on the street. Another masked man gets escaped and drives away in the car. Matt fires at the second man too and one of the bullet hits his thigh. Matt follows the injured man and kills him too.
Private investigator Matthew Scudder is hired by a drug kingpin to find out who kidnapped and murdered his wife.
