Manchester by the Sea

Lee Chandler lived in his native town, Manchester with his wife Randy and their three young children. One day Lee accidentally caused the fire, which happened a misfortune. Poor kids got suffocated in the smoke. Lee even wanted to commit suicide. After all he divorced with Randy and now works as a janitor in Quincy. Chandler just is in this life, occasionally removing emotional stress, by drunken in a bar and fighting.

Once he called old friend George and said that his brother Joe suffered a major heart attack. Lee forced to return to his home town. Unfortunately he did not, brother die before his arrival. Joe remains a teenage son Patrick. Suddenly, Chandler finds out that he has been appointed guardian of this youth. Now the man is forced to stay in Manchester. The relationship with the teenager is extremely difficult to fold. Besides, remembering about last tragedy came flooding back with renewed vigour. Only after visiting the cemetery where was his family, Lee realises that now he had the meaning of life.
After his older brother passes away, Lee Chandler is forced to return home to care for his 16-year-old nephew. There he is compelled to deal with a tragic past that separated him from his family and the community where he was born and raised.
