Dr. Lucy Banks teaches linguistics in one of the prestigious universities. It is perhaps that she is one of the best translators, and that is why FBI is turning and ask her for help. However, the woman does not even know that she has to translate. On our planet arrived a few alien ships, and no one knows what brings that visit to us. Aliens come in contact with people, and Lucy trying to learn how to communicate with them. Gradually, in the process of learning a previously unknown language, it starts to occur a series of flashback, so she learns the secret, which has led to the arrival of an alien race.
