A Monster Calls

Connor is an ordinary boy whose mother is seriously ill. He has absolutely no friends, and at school he faces constant bullying from classmates. In his life there comes a very difficult time, and he withdraws into himself. When Connor's especially hard, he called for a monster of their dreams: a normal yew tree growing outside the window of his house, turns into a huge monster. At night it tells the boy stories that help him understand that even when the world around is collapsing, it is possible to find the strength not to despair. Together with the monster Connor is going through incredible Adventures which one help him to escape from problems and to find a way out of the most difficult situations of his life.
