Dredd

The movie begins in the futuristic United States, which is now being termed at “Cursed Earth”. Mega City One which is on the East Coast is the place where many Crimes take place every day. Judges are the only force for order and they need to play all the roles that are required for a perfect judgement. Dredd is a judge and he is given a task by the chief justice and that is to evaluate Cassandra Anderson. Cassandra failed the aptitude test to become a judge but she still has got another chance to prove herself. Anderson and Dredd are sent to investigate about a case against Ma-Ma, who is a drug Lord. He killed three other drug dealers by infusing a drug, skinning them alive and then throwing them from the 200th floor. Anderson and Dredd catch Kay and suspecting him to be the drug lord, they begin the investigation. Ma-Ma seals the entire building and trap them as he gets to know about their intentions.
In the future, America is a dystopian wasteland. The latest scourge is Ma-Ma, a prostitute-turned-drug pusher with a dangerous new drug and aims to take over the city. The only possibility of stopping her is an elite group of urban police called Judges, who combine the duties of judge, jury and executioner to deliver a brutal brand of swift justice. But even the top-ranking Judge, Dredd, discovers that taking down Ma-Ma isn’t as easy as it seems in this explosive adaptation of the hugely popular comic series.
