Based on true events, Straight Outta Compton follows the story of the formation and phenomenal success of N.W.A. – the real-life gangsta rap group in 1980s America. A namesake of the group’s first studio album, the movie goes into the detail of how its members - five young African-American men who are struggling with their lives trying to fulfil their dreams – go on to find great success in the music scene and revolutionize hip-hop culture as they work together.
