Cold in July

Richard Dane as usual hunky, who lives with his wife and son in a small town. One night to his house, someone sneaked. Dane immediately dug up old his father's revolver and went downstairs. Stumbling on the interloper, he scared the robber shot and died on the spot. Police identified the deceased as a dangerous offender, for which they have long hunted. After the Dane became a local celebrity in the town where he lived.

But short-lived Richard bathed in the rays of glory. On his track was attacked by Ben Russell, father of the robber, and vowed to avenge the death of his son, giving an opaque allusion that with son Dana can happen that something was wrong. Rich enlists local private detective to uncover the plans of Ben Russell.
While investigating noises in his house one balmy Texas night in 1989, Richard Dane puts a bullet in the brain of a low-life burglar. Although he’s hailed as a small-town hero, Dane soon finds himself fearing for his family’s safety when Freddy’s ex-con father rolls into town, hell-bent on revenge.
