Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk

Billy Lynn is a nineteen year old soldier who is serving in Iraq. His platoon engages in battle, which falls into the lenses of news cameras. Millions of TV viewers witness the terrible events in which the soldiers manage to survive. The government decides to seize the opportunity to appear and sends the platoon to a promotional tour of the country. Now the purpose of guys is to show that the government is the correct policy. The culmination of their journey becomes a football match held on Thanksgiving Day. Here Billy falls in love with a charming girl, but soon he has to return to War, which has not been canceled.
19-year-old Billy Lynn is brought home for a victory tour after a harrowing Iraq battle. Through flashbacks the film shows what really happened to his squad – contrasting the realities of war with America's perceptions.
