Feature film "The Cable Guy" tells the story of a very strange guy named Meps Douglas, who runs kabelshhikom. All their free time watching tv fills the Chip, the result was that the tv replaced him, parents and friends. Working kabelshhikom he communicates with the mass of people, it's all you need, but in the soul of Chip very lonely he has no friend.
Having got acquainted with Stephen, chip is starting to impose his friendship and this is very comical, and sometimes tragic, because it absolutely does not know how to behave in society. And upon learning Chuck closer, Steven realizes that to get rid of such a friend is not so simple.
When recently single Steven moves into his new apartment, cable guy Chip comes to hook him up—and doesn't let go. Initially, Chip is just overzealous in his desire to be Steven's pal, but when Steven tries to end the 'friendship', Chip shows his dark side. He begins stalking Steven, who's left to fend for himself because no one else can believe Chip's capable of such behaviour.
