Deepwater Horizon

The movie "Deepwater Horizon" is based on the real events that taken place in 2010 in Mexico on the American oil platform "Deep water Horizon". Those tragic events have led not only to peoples death but also to one of the largest environmental disasters. Due to the oil spill, formed a huge spot of 75 thousand square meters, and after an explosion started the strongest fire, which tried to be extinguished within one and a half days. Mike Williams is an ordinary employee of an oil platform, who is going to watch the next, and could not assume, what it`s all will turn for him and his colleagues. A major accident leads to the strongest explosion and the fire, and chances to be saved practically no. But Mike didn't lose heart and ready to do everything possible in order to return to his family...
A story set on the offshore drilling rig Deepwater Horizon, which exploded during April 2010 and created the worst oil spill in U.S. history.
