Feature film "Enemy at the Gates" reveals the events of 1942 when the Nazis attacked Stalingrad. It was then that arose the legend about Vasily Zaitsev, Russian sniper.
Zaitsev became an icon of protection of Stalingrad. Every day he took dozens of lives fight the fascists on the light, and including their commanders that brought havoc in the ranks of German soldiers. When rumors about Basil reached Berlin, Hitler ordered to send the most experienced German sniper to eliminate acuurate defender of Stalingrad.
