John Q

Plot a criminal Drama "John Q" tells about the usual Chicago family, in which there was a mishap, but nobody can help because of bureaucratic health care system of America. John q-normal American citizen, hardworking man, a loving husband and a caring father. During the baseball game with son John Michael accident occurs. In the hospital the doctors put a terrible diagnosis-boy urgently needed a heart transplant, or else he will die in the coming days. John and his wife Denise are shocked, because they have no money for the operation, which costs several hundred thousand dollars.


As time goes by and the baby stays live. The insurance does not cover such operations, and without it, doctors cannot make Michael into a waiting list to receive a donor heart. The family is desperate, nobody can and does not want to break the law to save the life of a boy. Then, John Q sees no other choice but to take hostage the medical staff of hospitals and force to conduct the operation.
John Quincy Archibald is a father and husband whose son is diagnosed with an enlarged heart and then finds out he cannot receive a transplant because HMO insurance will not cover it. Therefore, he decides to take a hospital full of patients hostage until the hospital puts his son's name on the donor's list.
