Max Perkins is a well-known publisher, that brought to the world such writers as Ernest Hemingway and Scott Fitzgerald, whose writings became worldwide best-sellers. One day he lay his hands on a writing of a young writer Thomas Wolf and Perkins quickly notices his unusual talent. The movie will return you to those great times. The publisher is quick to persuade the young author to cooperate as he clearly understands what kind of person he shall be working with. During the cooperation, these two extraordinary men didn't only become companions but also good friends. Yet their friendship was accompanied by regular quarrels, as they constantly had arguments about different plot twists...
