Single father Dan Burns independently raising three daughters: Jane, Cara and Lily. His wife died four years ago, and Dan is convinced that new love it is no longer needed. He lives quietly with his girls in New Jersey, leads an advice column in a newspaper and doesn't need anything else. Each year Burns with daughters goes to their parents to spend the weekend with his entire family.

The elderly worry about Bernsy son and mother sends Dan the city a little unwind. There, our hero meets a cute woman named Marie. Marie only began dating a guy, but still gives you new friend Barnsu your phone. Inspired by Dan flies home to share the news with his family — he met a new love! And what was his surprise when he learns that his new love is a girl his brother.
Advice columnist Dan Burns is an expert on relationships, but somehow struggles to succeed as a brother, a son and a single parent to three precocious daughters. Things get even more complicated when Dan finds out that the woman he falls in love with is actually his brother's new girlfriend.
