Defiance

The film "Defiance" made by EdWard Cwick (USA), based on real events described in the story Nehamy Tech entitled "challenge: partisans Bielski partisans." One of the main roles played by British and Hollywood actor Daniel Craig, best known for his roles in the new films about James Bond. The first blow in the summer of 1941 year took over Belarus. After the Nazis staged a massive massacre of the Jewish population, four brothers Aaron, Tuvia, Asael Bielski partisans and Zus' organized a partisan unit in nalibokskaya Pushcha, which mostly consisted of local Jews. Just a few months in the squad already included more than a thousand Jewish fighters.

The elder of the brothers Tuviah Friedman, Belsky, sneaks into the House of local collaborators, who were implicated in the deaths of his parents, heads of police and his sons, and kills them. Then the Jews who managed to escape from the ghetto, massively come into the squad, whose Commander and becomes Tuvia. On account of the Jewish guerrilla detachment of many operations, from which the Nazis allowed in their wake awesome chastisers units, their struggle has been difficult, but the contribution to the common victory turned out to be quite significant.
Based on a true story, during World War II, four Jewish brothers escape their Nazi-occupied homeland of West Belarus in Poland and join the Soviet partisans to combat the Nazis. The brothers begin the rescue of roughly 1,200 Jews still trapped in the ghettos of Poland.
